February 6: Yves Montand

Discovered by Edith Piaf in a Paris music hall, Montand went on to gain international recognition as both a singer and actor. His crooner songs about Paris became instant classics. 

Supported by a generous bequest from the estate of Robert Leslie Welsh, through the West Vancouver Memorial Library Foundation.
